Methane gas excavation to begin on May

Dailekh; Excavation of petroleum methane gas is to be initiated from first week of May. The methane gas excavation is to kick off with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Vice President of China Geological Survey Wangkul and Director General of Department of Mines and Geology Somnath Sapkota in Beijing. Earlier, Nepal government had undertaken research on petroleum products and declared its excavation in Shiristhan of Dailekh. The research was carried out before three years when the country was facing crisis of petroleum products due to trade embargo enforced by India. Bhaktapur, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has said that the government has been moving ahead with a commitment to eradicate tuberculosis.
